The AL5 blast chiller accommodates five GN 1/1 or 600 × 400 inserts at 70 mm intervals. In the rapid cooling cycle, it cools 16 kg from +70 °C to +3 °C in 90 minutes, and in the blast freezing cycle, 10 kg from +70 °C to -18 °C in 240 minutes. A core temperature probe is included, and the door hinge is reversible. It connects to a standard 230 V socket.
