2-year guarantee on appliances and accessories
We guarantee that our appliances are free from defects in material and workmanship – for 2 years from the date of delivery. By law, shorter periods would be possible for business customers – we give you 2 years.
Small appliances up to 30 kg: you bring or send the appliance to the specified repair centre.
Large appliances over 30 kg: our technicians repair the appliance on site at your premises.
Bartscher products: the guarantee is handled directly by Bartscher (Bartscher AG, 6403 Küssnacht am Rigi, Tel. +41 41 785 50 00, info@bartscher.ch).
In the event of a guarantee claim, we repair the appliance, replace it or refund the purchase price – at our discretion. Please notify us of a defect in writing immediately after it is discovered.
Not covered by the guarantee
Wearing and consumable parts such as seals, glass, acrylic glass, firebricks, lamps, castors, door handles, hoses, control panel foils
Damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper operation, lack of cleaning, maintenance or descaling, overvoltage, external influences or interventions by third parties
Damage caused by improper connection – electrical, gas and water connections belong in the hands of specialists
Spare parts
90-day guarantee on the part. Installation and removal, labour and travel are not included. If a part is replaced or an appliance is repaired under the guarantee, the guarantee period is not extended.
Outlet
Used appliances: 6-month guarantee on parts and labour, inspected by our technicians before sale. We charge for travel; you bring or send small appliances up to 30 kg to us. Unused outlet appliances: 12-month guarantee. There is no guarantee for the defects described on the appliance.
Guarantee work at weekends
If you need us at weekends or on public holidays, we charge an on-call surcharge: Saturday CHF 65 per call-out and per working hour, Sundays and public holidays CHF 130 per call-out and per working hour.
Guarantee extension
With a maintenance contract, you can take out a guarantee extension for selected appliances. Ask us.
