The BD 601 S is the largest chest freezer in the BD series, with a net capacity of 581 litres and a width of 2035 mm. The lid is made of stainless steel, while the interior is made of aluminium. It operates at temperatures below −18 °C and is suitable for climate classes 4 and 5.
